- Our wide span beams are the primary shelf supports in Mecalux Wide Span Shelving systems—engineered for strength, versatility, and fast installation. Available in two beam styles to match your shelf decking preference:
- ZS Beams feature a step profile ideal for use with particle board or solid metal shelf panels.
- MS Beams offer a flat profile to support wire mesh decking, making them perfect for airflow and fire-code compliant storage.
- Both beam styles are manufactured from high-strength steel and designed to handle heavy, hand-stacked inventory with ease. The boltless connection system allows for quick drop-in installation into Mecalux Wide Span Uprights, and beam levels can be easily adjusted to meet changing storage needs.
- These beams are commonly used in warehouses, retail stockrooms, and back-of-house storage, where bulky or irregular items require shelf-level access and high weight capacities.
